Elvedin Klačar was born in 1976 in the village of Rudo in Bosnia and Herzegovina and lives and works in Vienna. He studied at two different art schools, the école supérieure des beaux-arts de Marseille in France and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

‚DREHUNG‘
Die Arbeit referenziert auf die Aussage von Daniel Spoerri „Stillstand provoziert Bewegung“. Das Ringelspiel aus den 70ern umkreist ohne Geschwindigkeit einen geschmuggelten Korallenstein. Die spielerische Leichtigkeit soll die geschichtsträchtige Schwere aushebeln. Was bleibt, ist die Rückbesinnung.
The work references Daniel Spoerri's statement "Standstill provokes movement". The ring game from the 70s circles a smuggled coral stone without speed. The playful lightness is meant to cancel out the historical heaviness. What remains is the recollection.
