Wang Tianxing (Wang Yishan, born 1988 in Neijiang, Sichuan, China) received his MFA in Visual Arts from California University of the Arts in 2015. His work includes photography, video, and mixed media installations. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Berkeley Art Museum, Root Division Gallery in San Francisco, and Art Space. 2015, Wang Tianxing received the Avant Guardian Photography Award from Surface Magazine, and in 2016, he was selected for the Lens Culture Magnum Photography Award. In 2017, his work was nominated for the Lens Culture Magnum Photography Award. In 2018, he was a participant in the Xishuangbanna Photo Festival's "Natural Growth: A Small River as an Art Sample", and received the Elite Art Award in the same year. He currently lives and works in Chengdu.
